Can't believe that I (Beth) am finally doing something technologically cool. Who would've ever thought? This is such a great way to keep in touch! Thanks Todd!! Tara and Kelsie are not too happy with the photos, but that was Carli's handiwork!

She was feeling a little better this evening. Good friends from Grove City are coming tonight and 2 friends from Michigan are coming tomorrow. Hope she feels good enough to enjoy the visits. She is anticipating removing the opsite from her incision tomorrow-it itches!

So hard to wait until next Wednesday...pray that we have patience and that the treatments can start soon.

Thanks to all who are praying, sending cards, flowers, bears (thanks Amber!) and wishes her way! We couldn't do it without you!

Hi Gerbers,

We will continue to pray for Carli every day as we have for the past several days. This is a great way to keep us all informed. Hope you enjoy seeing your friends, Carli. Glad to hear that things seem to be going well and hopefully will get still better. I am sure that all of the prayers will help you all.
Love to you all,
Bill and Lucille Flowers

Gerbers,
You are technologically blest!!!! What a great way to keep all posted.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Carli and family. You all have persevered though MANY a trial...this will also show your strength.

I was thinking about you this weekend while I was listening to Max Lucado at the Women of Faith Conference. He spoke of "facing our giants." You have a giant right now. If God could help David kill his giant with one small stone, I'm sure he can help you with yours. He's holding you-did you know that? I hope so. We love you so much! Enjoy your friends this weekend.

Hi Carli,

Unfortunately, I am new to a site like this, and I put my comment way back a week ago. I deleted it so I could post it a little more up to date for you:

Word does get around the neighborhood. I wish you the best and am praying for a full and quick healing. We have a little prayer group on Wed. mornings at school and will be remembering you.
You three girls look like you have sooooo much fun together. Sisters are the best. I should know, I have 5 of them!

I look forward to keeping up with your progress.

I miss you at school and think of you so often. Carli, be strong--I am sure you know how much you are loved. Hang in there. Sue

Hey Gerbers!! Thanks for the updates and know that people are continuing to pray for you all. I loved seeing the pictures-what beautiful young ladies!!
Just wanted to leave you with a quote I saw recently which spoke to my heart. It said " Don't tell God how big your problems are, tell your problems how big your God is!"
We love you all!

Carli,
I remember a similar quote like the one above ... "You are not discouraged unless the situation you face is bigger than the God you serve. How big is your God? ~ P.L. Liddell
None of us are in your shoes (or slippers!) but at a time like this, when fear wants to creep in, just remember how many of us love you and are right here cheering you on. May our HUGE God give you peace on Wednesday!

Beth, I'm so glad you (& Todd) started this blog. It is so helpful to know exactly what to being praying for each day.
I, too, have a quote I'd like to share. This is from Corrie ten Boom, who said " Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." God is very real to you and Carli is his much-loved child. Her future is in his hands.
Memorize Isaiah 41:10.
Love and prayers,
Kathy & Larry
